This is a small PSA for websites that want to auto-translate content. Google can’t see anything if you have this one option enabled.
Disable the browser redirect option!
this is how it looks on the https://wp-multilang.com/ plugin.
When this option is enabled, during very first visit by the user they are redirected to the browser lang (if you’re reading this then it will be in english) and then during their second visit onwards, they can access the right page.
This leads to a meta redirect as a status code.
Since Googlebot does cookieless crawling, every visit is a first visit for it so effectively it can never see the page.
